Evelyn L. Weiss Leary entered into eternal rest, while at home with her son by her side, on Friday January 2nd, 2015. She was 61. Evelyn was born in Newark NJ, and to the late Julius and Marie Weiss. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. Evelyn held many positions over the years, yet most recently, was a dog trainer at Petco in Sewell NJ. Evie was best known for sun tanning by her pool, refinishing furniture, enjoying arts and crafts, and spoiling her dogs. Evelyn leaves behind a loving son Christopher Rusca of Clifton, as well as a sister Carol Kimball and a brother Jules Weiss. Friends and family are asked to visit on Wednesday January 7th, from 6 to 9pm, at Halpin – Bitecola Brookdale Funeral and Cremation Service, 1284 Broad Street in Bloomfield NJ. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, on Thursday January 8th, at the funeral home, with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park located at 234 Paramus Road in Paramus NJ.
