Michele Pietroiacovo of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the age of 82. He was born in Italy, before moving to Bloomfield in 1968. He worked in construction for most of his life, his most recent employer was Guasto Construction in East Orange, N.J. His biggest joy was hunting and was best known as the town handyman. Michele is survived by his children, Lucia, Franco and Nick and his wife Donna Pietroiacovo; His brother Giovanni Pietroiacovo and sister Assunta Capra of Italy, and his sister Donata Iezza of California; and his granddaughter Nicole Peietroiacovo. Michele is predeceased by his loving wife Teresa Pietroiacovo (2014), his sister Maria Ellimo and his brother Antonio Pietroiacovo. Services are private at the families request.
