Joan Popadaniec, of Bloomfield, passed away January 12th, at Mountainside Hospital. She was 82. Joan was born in Montclair, and has resided in Bloomfield since 1954. She retired from the Phone Company, and loved gardening, ceramics, and feeding the birds. Her greatest passion was breeding boxers, and she loved just being home spending time with her family. Joan was predeceased by her husband Tadhus J. Popadaniec in 1988. She leaves behind two daughters, Karen Fazel, Judy Popadaniec and her partner Judy Montalbano, and a son Thaddeus Popadaniec and his girlfriend Greer Garriton. Joan also leaves behind a grandson Kyle Fazel and his wife Angela. Joan also leaves behind her loving Black Lab Kole.
