I worked closely with Norm FOR about 3 years on the acquisition of STOPS, and he was truly one of the kindest souls I've ever met. He loved to share stories of his family, and his devotion to them touched me. I'm sending love and light to his family, as I know how deeply he will be missed. Norm, Norm, Norm - Three full days have gone by and I didn't find the strength to accept the facts or to say good bye. You are one of the bravest and most courageous human beings I have ever met. Your departure devastates me but I find some comfort in knowing that you now rest and finally stopped all those procedures and tests that drove you nuts.
I keep the benefit of having work with you and for you not once but twice "Boss". MY family and I rest eternally grateful for what you did for me when I had the stroke. You basically saved my life. Thanks.
Prayers of light I've been sending for an smooth transition from this world to the next. Also prayers of comfort and condolences for Britney and Laurie so the find the strength to manage as best as possible this terrible turning point.

I came to know Norm when he was involved in helping our company when it was acquired by OCM. We all absolutely loved Norm, especially me. We worked together for quite a few months and then I always sought him out whenever I visited OCM”s offices in NJ. Whenever he visited our offices in Florida, we all yelled out “Norm”, just like in Cheers. We spoke frequently of his love for his family and I know that he fought to stay with you.
Rest In Peace Norm. You earned it. May your family know how much you loved them and know how much we loved him also.

Like all of us who knew Norm, was to love Norm, like a big brother, for all his comedic antics & wit, his "un-pc" views and ways of "just saying it like it is". It was his pure transparency, and his fun and outgoing nature of bridging relationships and people together, who may not have otherwise done so. These are the qualities that afforded him so many friends and a successful leadership role and expertise in audit. He was a strong guy physically and mentally, yet a gentle and FUNNY giant. His love for going out to the movies with his buddies, and as all of us at One Call remembers his many trips to STOPS where he would frequent Disney, as he was an avid Mickey fan. My kids remember how Norm took the time to map out a whole itinerary for us when we went to Disney to get the best experience. That's how Norm was a great friend. He would always interject a debate or discussion with his own two cents, "Tell ya what", which is what he would often start with. We had the best times at One Call during many group late night crunches, and there was Norm asking "where are we ordering from?"
My last conversation with Norm was just a few days ago, we talked twice and he sounded better than ever. He was excited to go home after getting the 90 day clearance of no blast recurrence. He looked forward to Brittany's wedding, vacating the Hoboken apartment, where he and Lori spent many days during his outpatient treatment and finally, returning to the home he lived his whole life, after the hard fought battle he so badly wanted to win.
It is with the most devastated and heaviest heart I write this tribute to a great man friend, who was second to none. Where the good ol' days of One Call will forever live in our hearts, until we all see you again Norm. With the greatest sympathy and love to his beautiful and smart daughter, Brittany, Laurie and his cherished brother Roy. With all certainty Norm has negotiated that Disney and Sci Fi Movies now have a place with him in Heaven. "Laughter is timeless" Walt Disney wrote and so are our laughs and memories with you Norm. Norm was a long time co-worker and friend. I will never forget some of the business trips we took down to Porto Rico or Pittsburgh during our Warner Lambert days and then many years later at Medco. Then there were all of the Sci-fi movies we would watch through the years. Man , did he love those movies. And who else could I call to get an in depth analysis of up-coming football games. We had some many good times and I will really miss him. To Norm's family I give you the most heart felt condolences from my wife and I. God speed my friend.

It is with deep sympathy that I share this. Norm and I worked together at One Call for many years. We shared our love of sci-fi, Star Trek, Star Wars and so much more. Norm was a strong support for me. He made days at One Call so much fun.
I know he will be missed by all who knew him. I will miss him, his sense of humor and the times we spent reminiscing over movies we both saw and enjoyed.
