Obituary of Timothy Christopher Dwyer

Timothy C. Dwyer, of Bloomfield entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 15th, 2018.  He was 62.

Timothy graduated from Montclair State University and received an MBA in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  He worked for ABB Lummus Crest for many years as a Systems Analyst and most recently at the Par Troy School District as a Manager of Information Systems. Tim was a parishioner at St Thomas the Apostle Church.  He enjoyed fixing family and friend’s computers, walking his dogs, and the opportunity to use the perfect amount of sarcasm.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and his grand-daughter Claire. 

Timothy leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Nancy, their three children; Christopher and his wife Katelyn Dwyer, Matthew Dwyer, and Caitlyn Dwyer, a sister, Maureen and brother, Tommy.  He leaves behind his grand-daughter Claire, and his two dogs Charlie and Legend. 

Family and friends may visit on Monday, February 19th, from 4 to 8pm, at Halpin - Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St in Bloomfield.  A funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, February 20th, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave in Bloomfield.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

In Lieu of flowers a donation in Tim’s memory may be made to The Seeing Eye, P.O. Box 375, Morristown NJ 07963, or the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231.
