Sixteen years later, something told me to look up Mr. Rizzotti. I am so sad to learn that he passed. He was my teacher 2005 - 2006 and he had such a big impact on the adult that I became. It’s so rare to have a teacher who truly believes in you and lets you know how proud they are of you. It’s rare to find people like that in general. I think he’s the only teacher who ever gave me a hug.
I wish I could have a conversation with him and let him know how much his life impacted my own. And talk about all the things we’ve learned about life, adult to adult. For now, I will replay those age 10 memories often and find comfort in the fact (and blessing) that I ever knew such a great person.

Mr. Rizzotti was the greatest teacher I ever had. He pushed me and he always believed in me. He even gave me a solo singing Happy Xmas by John Lennon in front of the whole school, and I am not a good singer at all. If I felt down, he would always make sure I was okay and he made going to school fun. Growing up I always told myself I would send Mr. Rizzotti a message when I graduated college or found a good job, when I looked him up and saw that he passed I immediately burst into tears. I wish that I could’ve said goodbye to my favorite teacher. He was genuinely a good person, one of the best I’ve ever known. I know that he’s in a better place. Rest In Peace Mr. Rizzotti, your memory lives on. My condolences to his family.
Sincerely,
Ricardo Lee 2008-2009 P.S.276 class 5-325

My deepest condolences to Mr. Rizzoti's family. I was just minding my own business when I all of a sudden thought of looking up Mr. Rizzoti (he was my old 5th grade teacher). When I saw this, my heart sank. He was one of the coolest and best teachers I have ever met. We've had our ups and downs but it's just so unbelievable that he has passed. I was hoping to one day come back to see him one day, just one last time. I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful guy. I hope that he is resting peacefully and having a blast up there.
Again, I offer my condolences.
R.I.P. Robert Rizzoti

I was apart of the 5th grade PS276 graduating class. Mr.Rizzotti was my teacher. I remember being able to tell him anything and having him be my number 1 ally. He was someone who looked out for my overall benefit and was always inspiring. I never forget on the last day of our fifth .year he said to our class"the world is a beautiful place, there will be people that will try to bring you down and distract you from your goals, but trust and believe that you can do anything you set your heart and mind to.You are all exceptional children and will all embark on the amazing path to success in life, in your education and your career". Those words have always stuck with me and always assured me that i am my number 1 advocate and that no matter what obstacles are present in my life I will always achieve my goals. Rest In Peace Mr. Rizzotti

Dear Julius, we only just found out about Robert's passing. Robert was such a kind, friendly soul. Whenever we walked pass his house, Robert stopped to chat with our sons. He even gave them a frog prince statue from his own garden which we will cherish. We are happy to have known Robert.
Our belated condolences to you and yours.

To family of Robert Rizzotti
It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take, someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven.
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ some may say.
What would it take to convince you that this is a sure hope? To believe in a promise, you would need to be certain that the one making the promise is both willing and able to fulfill it. Who, then, is it that promises that the dead will live again?
Can we really believe the resurrection promise? Yes, there is no doubt that God and his Son are both willing and able to fulfill it. What does this mean for you? You have the prospect of being reunited with dead loved ones right here on earth but under very different conditions!
God, who started mankind off in a lovely garden, has promised to restore Paradise on this earth under the rule of His heavenly Kingdom in the hands of the now glorified Jesus Christ. ( Matthew 6:10; “ Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth” ) In that restored Paradise, the human family will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all sickness and disease. (Revelation 21:1-4; “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Gone, too, will be all hatred, racial prejudice, ethnic violence, and economic oppression. It will be into such a cleansed earth that God through Jesus Christ will resurrect the dead.
We engage in this activity because we are genuinely interested in our neighbors. Our work is not commercial. It is our hope that someday soon we will be able to talk to you personally. Please go to JW.org for words of encouragement
Sincerely,
Roberta L..

I am saddened by the passing of such a wonderful and devoted teacher. My daughter had Mr. Rizzotti in 5th grade and he made her want to learn. Mr. Rizzotti made math easy and fun. He also convinced her to give a speech at graduation and I will be forever grateful that he was such a mentor to her at such an important time. You will be sorely missed.

Robert and Alex bought the house next door to me and we instantly became friends. I have so many fond memories. Their dogs Molly and Stuart also became my friends.
Robert was always outside doing his gardening. He even did the landscaping in the front of my house. Now I will think of him everyday as I walk past it.
I will miss Robert and will speak his name to his beautiful dogs as long as they are living in the house. I am sure they are missing him.
God Bless you Robert. I know you are in heaven with your beautiful mother Marie.

To the friends and family of Robert Rizzoti. May I give you my uttermost condolences on the passing of Robbie. He and I worked together in our "youth" at Pathmark. We used to have so much fun. We all were friends then and hung out with each other. Robbie was a kind gentle soul. Always there for everyone. Never selfish but always thought of the other person. The world needs more people like Robbie setting examples in character. I'm so sorry for your loss, but now he is in a place where sickness doesn't exist. And he can fly with angels. He can be happy and young and full of life. My best to all of his family and friends and stick close to God during your time of loss so he can help you through.
