Betty Jean Burrows, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away on March 16, 2017. She was 91. Betty, was an executive secretary for PSE&G Engineering, before devoting her life to caring for her children, one whom had special needs. She was a member of the former Church of the Advent in Bloomfield, where Betty was a Sunday school teacher, ECW member, and assisted with administrative duties. Betty was predeceased by her husband, William, in 2001. Dear mother of; a daughter Joyce King and her husband John; and a son William Jeffrey Burrows. Loving grandmother of Katelyn King, of whom held a special place in her heart. Friends and family are asked to visit on Sunday, March 19th from 4-8pm, at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 20th, at Grace Episcopal Church in Nutley, with interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
