Obituary of Catherine R Tomaiko

Catherine R. Tomaiko, a Bloomfield resident for over 60 years, went home to the Lord on Friday, January 20th, 2017. She was 81. Cathy was an active member of St Thomas the Apostle Church and was a member of the Discussion Club. Cathy enjoyed walking with her neighbors, spending time with family and friends at her P.A. house, but most importantly spending fun times with her family, laughing and enjoying life. Cathy was predeceased by her loving husband, of 59 years, William Tomaiko. She leaves behind a daughter Karen Romano and her husband Jerry, and a son Gary Tomaiko and his wife Ann. Cathy also leaves behind six grandchildren; Christine, Jackie, Michael, David, Danny, and Diana, and two sisters Patricia and her husband Jack Baldwin, and Joann and her husband Joseph Riotto. Friends and family may visit on Monday January 23rd, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St in Bloomfield. A mass will be held on Tuesday January 24th at 10am at St Thomas the Apostle Church, with interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cathy’s name can be made to Franciscan Friars, T.O.R. P.O. Box 500 Loretta, PA 15940-0500
