Obituary of Margaret McGlynn

Miss Margaret M. McGlynn of Coopersburg, PA, formerly of Bloomfield, NJ passed away on Thursday July 18, 2013 at the age of 96. Born in Jersey City, NJ. she moved to Bloomfield in 1955. Margaret received a Bachelor of Science degree from Chestnut Hill College in Germantown, Pennsylvania. She taught school for 29 years in the Archdiocese of Newark parochial schools, St. Patrick's Jersey City for 13 years and St. Thomas the Apostle in Bloomfield, NJ for 16 years before retiring 42 years ago. She was predeceased by her parents, Patrick J. and Mary (nee) McInerney; beloved brothers and sisters, Joseph B; Sister Rita Marie, O.P.; John J.; Thomas F.; Rita M.; and Raymond E. She is the beloved aunt of Thomas R. McGlynn; Maureen P. Urmy and MaryEllen Casey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Frank Halpin's Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St, Bloomfield, on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home at 8:00 a.m. follow by the Funeral Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave, Bloomfield. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
